I suggest one central function that queries Joomla version info for all Joomla version.

extplorer.list.php:
global $dir_up, $mosConfig_live_site, $_VERSION;

seems OK: function ext_isJoomla

header.php:
if( is_object( $GLOBALS['_VERSION'] ) || class_exists( 'jversion')) {

list.php:
global $dir_up, $mosConfig_live_site, $_VERSION;

a lot of language files: maybe a simple search&replace solves this

That is all.

I think that JSON response should allways be application/x-javascript. For example action=upload is not.
Why?
Some hosting companies adds extra content with javascript statistics code when response content-type is text/html, so JSON response could not be properly parsed and error occured.
My quickfix:
--- a/admin.extplorer.php
+<ins>+ b/admin.extplorer.php

@ -110,6 +110,7
@ if( file_exists( EXT_PATH .
I'm testing 2.1 RC5 and as I can see Search doesn't work. In version 2.0 everything was OK.

Hello,
Just did a clean install of Joomla 1.7. Uploaded ALL joomla files via FTP and installed with FTP (if this makes a difference). Installed several components just fine including ose File Manager, then installed latest version 2.1.0RC4. but the component does not load like it should. I the following warning:

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/***/public_html/administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/application.js.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/***/public_html/administrator/components/com_extplorer/include/list.php on line 385

If I switch to FTP mode, I get the same warning, but also a notice:

Notice: Undefined variable: authentication_type in /home/***/public_html/administrator/components/com_extplorer/include/login.php on line 57

Any help would be appreciated. Extplorer has been a great component in the past.
eXtplorer - PHP-based File Manager - Fehler #6 (Neu): Uploads don't work in IE8http://extplorer.net/issues/62011-03-28T15:19:38ZKlaus Ederhax@gmx.at
