Hello,
First, your explorer is amazing and exactly what i need on my NAS. It is on PHP 4.4.2 and if possible i prefer to stay on it.

I'm almost a noob on linux and a real one on JSON.

eXtplorer is almost working on my NAS.

First Bug, on first start, click "Connect" after typing usr/pwd doesn't start success on handler and so "location.load", but if i click on refresh button on browser (IE10 or Chrome 30.0) credentials are accepted.

Second Bug, after warning message on default password, the first popup open but another popup on it inform on an issue with JSON decoding.

To use your software, i've to modify these files :
1. index.php :
add this line 1 : #!/usr/bin/php
chmod 766 on file to be executable
2. fetchscript.php :
add this line 1 : #!/usr/bin/php
chmod 766 on file to be executable
3. libraries/FTP/Socket.php :
line 507 : remove "= null" on &$msg
4. libraries/Text/TextEncoding.php :
remove all "static" before "function" (8x)

I hope my descriptions can help you to understand my issues.
I'll do what you want if you need other information, but please help me to install correctly your software.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards from France.
Fehler #132 (Neu): can't extract large archives?http://extplorer.net/issues/1322013-07-29T18:22:52ZBery Oxspam

No problems with small files.

After I upload a large zip file (size= ~180M, name like this="something - 1234.zip"), I click on the "extract from archive" button, but I receive a javascript alert saying "Failed to connect to the server." (the string is into: scripts/functions.js.php) and error messages log are empty, except for "PHP Notice: A session had already been started - ignoring session_start() in libraries/standalone.php on line 70" (note: session.auto_start is disabled).

If I set memory_limit to 256M repeating the actions, after the POST made by "the decompress button", the notice no longer appears, but it's like there is no effect (I can't see any decompression process running, no decompress progress bar, etc...).

I've reproduced the problem on these versions:

- eXtplorer: 2.1.0RC3 and 2.1.3, on standalone installation
- Apache 2.0, PHP 5.2

eXploter doesn't write any message to the PHP error log!

The changelog for version 2.0.0 says:
- fixed failing extraction of larger archives ("Failed to connect to the server")

Am I missing something? (Under my nose? :-D)

Bye!
Fehler #14 (Neu): UT8 encoding don't workhttp://extplorer.net/issues/142011-05-28T17:18:18ZMartin C.changer4@hotmail.com

Hi,

i like extplorer with the usability and how it looks like. But i can't use it :(
Some folders with special chars like ü, ö, ä aren't displayed correctly.

I tried to remove utf8 encoding like suggested in this forum:
http://www.synology-forum.de/showthread.html?3785-3rd-Party-eXtplorer-Umlaute&p=24067#post24067
(<- Note: Use translator to get in english)

'Bücher' is displayed to 'B?'
and
'Urlaub - Ausflüge - Besuch' => 'Urlaub - Ausflg00650020002d0020Besuch'

Hope this information helps to fix the problem.
Let me know, if problem is solved, so i can start using this great tool.
