This issue was initially posted in github. (At that time I did not know this site yet)
https://github.com/soerennb/extplorer/issues/15

On some rare occasions - we don't know why - function chdir passes the constant 'ext_root' for the root directory instead of an empty variable. This constant is then not recognized and chdir does not take place.

A workaround is available by changing line 76 in the file scripts/functions.js.php

Please advice how to solve this.

Best regards,
Alex
Fehler #338 (Neu): problem with sub directories with same namehttp://extplorer.net/issues/3382017-02-02T14:45:32ZAtesin Dj

/vhosts/domain/subdomain/*

/www/netgamer/www/forum/plugins/*

(note the 'www' directories) for ease and security, i set the root path as /www/ so i can manage all my vhosts with 1 extplorer installation

in this case when i try to install plugins, i cannot browse the subdirectories, when i double click it tries to change the name instead

also when i click the 'help/about' button, a message popups: 'the directory //netgamer/www/www/forum does not exists', i had to rename my vhosts dir to access subdirs (centos7 + nginx + explorer 2.1.9)

'hide pattern' option does not work either, i used to hide ^extplorer$ for security reasons, but doesnt work anymore
Fehler #333 (Gelöst): webdav display UPPER/CASE/FULL/PATH with some webdav clienthttp://extplorer.net/issues/3332016-11-10T13:38:33ZDaniel Roche

Hello,

when accessing to extplorer by webdav the files and directory are displayed in upper case and with the full path.

it happen only with some linux client :
- nemo ( cinnamon desktop )
- thunar ( xfce desktop )

it does not happen with cadaver CLI tools, nor with windows explorer
( i haven't tested unity/ubuntu nor gnome/nautilus )

i guess this behavior shows because theses tools are displaying the displayname property
instead of the path .

however, it seems quite easy to fix :

in libraries/HTTP/WebDAV/Server/Filesystem.php
replace ( line 215 )

$info["props"][] = $this->mkprop("displayname", strtoupper($path));

by

$info["props"][] = $this->mkprop("displayname", basename($path));

and folders and files are properly displayed.
i have tested ok with :
- windows explorer
- thunar
- nemo
- cadaver
- macOS finder

Best regards
Fehler #328 (Neu): BUG/ISSUE: You cannot always see where you are and move to the previous directoryhttp://extplorer.net/issues/3282016-10-19T07:14:58ZAnonymous

Hi, I'm seeing this screen on all my Joomla! sites. It seems similar to a couple of others explained in earlier issues. I don;t see any error messages, but it keeps trying to refresh itself without success. Also clicking the link Return To Joomla does not return to the control panel. I have to close the tab to exit. I'm using exTplorer 2.1.7 under Joomla 3.3

I've used this program for years. I'm sure it's something I am overlooking. Thanks for your help.
Fehler #188 (Neu): 404 errorhttp://extplorer.net/issues/1882015-05-13T05:44:13ZGilad DassaGilad.dassa@gmail.com
