context menu download seems to be broken

Description

IE8:

Can't download trough the context menu in ie (when the file is not selected (ie left clicked) the context menu shows up, but the download link doesn't do anything.

if I select the file the context menu doesn't even open.

FF4:
If I rightclick without the file being selected - context menu shows up, download doesn't do anything like in IE.

If i select the file then right click - context menu shows up and download works.
