I was using this just 2 days ago and had no problems, here is the item that is the problem http://www.lccnisswa.org/administrator/scripts/editarea/edit_area_full_with_plugins.js
it showing in mozilla as pending the initiator is index.php:442 Parser
the top portion of your mod shows but the lower portion doesn't show up and just keeps reloading.

Reverted to 2.5.7 and the problem no longer happens, could be the 2.5.8 upgrade
