eXtplorer - PHP-based File Manager

Hi guys,

Have a slight issue & i'm not overly sure how to fix it. But basically i've been using Extplorer for a couple of months now & it's fantastic.

However, most recently it's been refusing to edit any Joomsport component files, so when i click save, it either doesn't complete or goes in a continuous saving cycle with no end product.

However, much to my dismay it did decide to work when i stupidly clicked save on a page and it saved a none existent file into an existing one, meaning i lost the file :S

But that problem aside (as it was my own stupidity & nothing else), what could be causing this component to not allow me to edit as i've never had an issue before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
