Notification for security updates

I just found this nice little tool. I am just curious about notifications for (security) updates. I registered but I cannot find any related information about this.

Is there for example a mailing each time an update arrives?

each time a new version gets released, I will post a news article on this homepage.
This will also trigger a post at our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/eXtplorer
