Where can i find the joomla component for the latest version (Downloads section contains only eXtplorer_2.1.5.zip)?

That is the latest version and works with all Joomla! versions.

Thanks, i was looking for com_eXtplorer_xx.tar.gz.

The README.txt file needs update:

3. Browse to the file "com_eXtplorer_xx.tar.gz" on your computer and click on "Upload File & Install".
